Lindsay Lohan Back In Rehab Lindsay Lohan voluntarily checked herself into rehab on Tuesday for the fifth time in three years.Newly freed on bail following a relapse, Lohan voluntarily has checked into a substance abuse rehab program, according to reports. Lohan, who most recently spent 23 days in a live-in program at UCLA Medical Center, planned to "step up her treatment" and "do more" than previously expected, a source claims.The name of the new program wasn't immediately known, but sources say it's in Southern California. She checked in late Monday. Lohan was released from a Lynwood, Calif., jail Sept. 24 after winning an appeal to be granted bail following a failed drug test. She is now wearing an alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet. |

Lindsay Lohan Released On $300,000 Bail A new judge cleared the way for Lindsay Lohan's release from jail on $300,000 bail after her attorney challenged a ruling earlier in the day that would have kept her in jail for nearly a month.Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg set the amount Friday evening. Schnegg imposed several restrictions on Lohan's release, including that she must wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet.Schnegg's ruling came after Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, filed a late-afternoon appeal seeking bail forLohan. Holley had been prohibited from arguing for bail during the Friday morning hearing when Judge Elden Fox ordered Lohan held until an Oct. 22 hearing.Schnegg's ruling states that defendants are entitled to bail in misdemeanor cases, which applies to Lohan. Lohan, who stayed in the same cell she occupied during her last stay, was freed at about 11:40 p.m. after posting $300,000 bail.As conditions of bail, Lohan is also prohibited from possessing any controlled substances, must refrain from drinking and must stay out of places where alcohol is primarily sold. |

Lindsay Lohan Won't Get Out of Jail Early Lindsay Lohan was twice released early in her previous stays at a Lynwood, Calif., jail, serving only a fraction of her sentences. Not this time. "Ms. Lohan cannot be released early because this isn't a jail sentence," L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says. "She's being held by court order until her hearing on Oct. 22. She will be held in the same conditions as her last stay, in a keep-away unit." Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Lohan will remain at the all-female-inmate facility for the next 29 days. "She's now being processed through, she's going to go through the same physical and mental evaluation," says Whitmore, adding that she'll be segregated from the general population "for the safety and security of the entire jail system." Whitmore adds that Lohan is "very cooperative, very demure, very quiet. Once again she's doing everything that is asked of her. Last time she did very well and so far, so good this time.'' Lohan once again donned an orange jumpsuit and is expected to be held by herself in an 8-by-12 foot cell, where she could spend approximately 23 hours a day. |
